Creative Arts Pastor
Purpose:
To lead the creative vision and execution of weekend experiences by developing teams that create engaging, distraction-free environments where people can connect with Jesus and the mission of City Church. This role provides leadership for worship, production, media, programming, and creative elements that help tell the story God is writing in and through our church.

A committed leader who is willing to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
In Your Position, You Will:
Create and champion the creative vision for all weekend worship experiences.
Lead and develop ministry leaders responsible for worship, production, media, and creative teams.
Ensure every Sunday experience reflects the mission, vision, and culture of City Church.
Oversee the planning and execution of worship, production, lighting, video, stage design, programming, and creative communication elements.
Collaborate with teaching pastors and ministry leaders to creatively support sermon series, special events, and church-wide initiatives.
Recruit, train, develop, and shepherd City Builders serving in worship and production ministries.
Create systems that allow teams to thrive through clear communication, preparation, and accountability.
Oversee Planning Center, service programming, production workflows, and rehearsal processes.
Provide leadership for audio, lighting, video, stage design, and technical excellence across all worship experiences.
Ensure needed equipment, software, and resources are maintained and utilized effectively.
Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness, excellence, and impact of weekend experiences.
Meet weekly with ministry leadership for evaluation, development, and planning.
Accomplish any other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Be a model for those who attend City Church by being an example of personal integrity, discipleship, and evangelism.
