Over the last six years, City Church in Griffin has been providing an opportunity for families in Griffin to enjoy a free night of creating memories as a family. From a free movie, popcorn, ice cream, and water to games and more this event has seen hundreds of families and friends come together in Griffin.
We are excited to announce that in April 17th, 2026 Movie in the Park will also be a space for a Community Resource Fair. In partnership with the Spalding Collaborative for Children and Families, we are excited to create a space for one night in our community where our goal is to gather as many local resources in one place.
FREE FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION
Imagine a space where a family can connect with every resource from housing, education, health, food pantries, non profits, and more. This is our heart and goal for the 1st Community Resource and Movie in the Park.
Here is all you need to do...sign up and show up, ready to connect with our community. Each community resource will be provided at least a 10'x20' space to set up.
The event will be located in the field at Solomon Park on the corner of 5th Street and Solomon Street. Set up will be open at 4PM and the event will grow from 6:00-7:30PM, with the moving start at 7:30PM and ending around 9:00PM.
Everyone that signs up must receive an email of approval before assuming they are a part of the Fair.
Please note that this is a free event. No Community Partner is allowed to sell anything at the event.
